Tumerics for taste, color and health
Tumerics fortaste, color and health - Curcuma Longa,
the rhizome and member of the ginger family, grows wild in the forests of
Southeast Asia. It has been used for culinary preparation, treatment and
ceremonies for thousands of years. The scientific community has recently
exploited the potential of its medicine, revealing to the world this Ancient
Indian Ayurvedic superfood, the natural root of healing and anti-biotics.
Ayurveda, a
holistic medical science from India, respects Tumeric because of its ability to
calm the stomach, fight ear and sinus infections, anti-inflammatory effects for
arthritis, to kill internal parasites, regulate women's cycles, for
reproductive health and to purify blood. When mixed with honey, it can be taken
at the onset of flu symptoms and even applied to skin irritation or wounds, it
speeds healing (especially in diabetic patients) and its anti-septic quality
avoids infection.
Tumeric is also
known as one of the most effective and useful ingredients in recipes for
natural beauty. It is used as a skin softener in Asia, a paste made from sand
powder, cream of milk and rose water is applied to the entire body.
This is an important step in a wedding ceremony in India. Previously the bride and groom were treated with this by their families to see if there were defects, birthmarks, or even moles placed in unlucky body positions! It is also used in religious and spiritual ceremonies in temples and places of worship.

It's no
coincidence that Indian culinary traditions are full of herbs and spices, and
dairy products like ghee. Many of these components that make up 'curry' are actually
drugs and together with their diets that are mostly vegetarian, produce India
which has the largest rate of colon cancer in the world.
Simple and warm
Tumeric flavors even add a unique flavor to Indian, Middle Eastern, Jamaican,
South American, African and Southeast Asian cuisines. Color everything it
touches with the yellow / orange hue we know from Indian cuisine.
In that place it grows fresh, the leaves of the plant are also used to wrap food for cooking giving a distinctive refined flavor, in the same way as banana leaves. This not only adds color, taste and quality of medicine to your food, but is also used in the food industry as a natural preservative because of its antibacterial and anti-fungal activity.

Any numerical
stains and everything, very good !! Be aware of what preparation equipment you
use and keep it away from stones, laminx and plastic. It is better to use a
glass cutting board, and a bowl and equipment from stainless steel. Wear gloves
if you like the color of your nails!
My personal use:
Add to soups, salads, curries, sauces, baking, herbs, spices, felafel, homous
